About the Role

Little Whole Me is seeking a polished, dependable, nurturing, and developmentally minded Care Specialist to join our growing team.

This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about supporting children and families with excellence, warmth, and intentional care. We are looking for individuals who understand that care is more than supervision, it is presence, professionalism, support, developmental awareness, and trust.

Our Care Specialists may support families in one or more of the following areas:
Newborn Care
Postpartum Support
Daytime Infant & Toddler Development
Early Learning & Private Educational Support

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is calm, organized, nurturing, observant, and aligned with a high-standard care environment.

This role may include support with:
Providing attentive, high-quality care to newborns, infants, toddlers, or young children
Supporting families during the postpartum period with practical and nurturing care
Assisting with feeding, diapering, soothing, sleep routines, and age-appropriate care
Supporting developmental milestones through intentional play and interaction
Creating calm, structured, and supportive daily rhythms for children
Maintaining tidiness in child-related areas throughout the shift
Providing detailed end-of-shift notes and family communication
Supporting household flow as it relates to the child’s care needs
Observing routines, preferences, developmental progress, and family expectations
Working collaboratively with the Little Whole Me™ care team and leadership
Specialty Pathways Within This Role May Include:
Overnight Newborn Care Specialist
Postpartum Doula
Daytime Developmental Specialist
Private Educator / Early Learning Support

Requirements

We are looking for care professionals who are:

  • Comfortable working independently in private homes

  • Passionate about child development, family support, and high-quality care

  • Teachable, adaptable, and aligned with a high-standard care environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, or young children

  • Newborn care experience preferred

  • Postpartum support experience preferred

  • Early childhood education or developmental background preferred

  • CPR / First Aid Certification preferred

  • Newborn Care Specialist certification is a plus

  • Postpartum Doula certification is a plus

  • Teaching, nanny, childcare, or private family experience is a plus
